The Boot

The Last Chukka No. 001 – The Return

One model, built to last and to be lived in. A men’s chukka with nothing extra on it — the whole of the maker’s attention in a single pair.

Made properly

The chukka is the quietest of boots — two eyelets, an ankle-high quarter, a clean toe. That restraint is exactly why it rewards craftsmanship: there is nowhere for a shortcut to hide. STOPNICKIbuilds it the long way, by hand, so it can be worn for years and resoled rather than replaced.

“Twenty years of silence. One chukka, made properly.”

How a pair is made

  1. Measure

We take your size and a short set of measurements so the last is fitted to your foot, not an average.

  2. Cut

A single hide is chosen and clicked by hand. The pattern is spare on purpose — fewer seams, cleaner lines.

  3. Welt

The boot is hand-welted, so it can be resoled and will outlast its first sole many times over.

  4. Finish & number

Burnished, hand-finished, and stamped with its number. Your pair is recorded against that number in the series.
